Janitza: Innovative solutions for sustainable energy management
As a globally recognized manufacturer of power monitoring and energy measurement devices as well as digital energy meters, Janitza stands for the highest quality standards and innovations. The measuring devices, GridVis® software and components combine energy management, power quality monitoring, load management and residual current monitoring in a common system environment – Made in Germany.
Janitza's energy measuring devices make energy flows transparent. This is the most important foundation, among other things, on the path to climate neutrality.
Ensuring safe, sustainable and efficient use of electrical energy is always the primary goal. Janitza not only wants to support its customers and partners in this respect, but also strive to constantly optimize energy efficiency in their own buildings for the good of the environment.
Janitza implements projects worldwide in the areas of energy management, power quality monitoring, load management and residual current monitoring. The company is already present in six regions with its own technical sales offices and is globally accessible through its strong partner network. With experience in project work on all continents, Janitza covers all major market segments, such as industry, building technology, energy suppliers, and data centers, and is constantly working on finding new solutions.
Top-quality energy measurement technology
Energy Analyzers UMG: Gain control over your energy consumption
Whether power quality analysis, residual current or temperature monitoring: Janitza® power analyzers offer the right functions for every application. Get an overview of your energy consumption and identify sources of interference and energy wasters.
The power analyzers help you to ensure complete transparency of the power quality at every level and thus avoid failures and faults in systems. Collect and monitor numerous energy measurement values to realize comprehensive energy management, increase efficiency and reduce costs.

MID Energy Meters: Measurable energy efficiency – full cost control
Comprehensive energy measurement is necessary to precisely monitor and efficiently optimise energy consumption. By using MID energy meters, you make it easier to analyse cost centres, increase your energy efficiency and save money through accurate cost allocation.
Electronic energy meters are primarily used for the recording of effective energy and reactive energy. Their area of application is in the field of energy management for cost centre analysis. Various communication options are available for this in order to avoid the time consuming process of manually reading out on-site.

Current transformers: The ideal expansion for energy measurement devices
Low-power current transformers, differential current transformers, Rogowski coils, and conventional current transformers offer various advantages and applications for precise and economical measurements in energy technology. From their compact design to their efficiency, these technologies provide versatile solutions for modern requirements.
Current transformers and UMG measurement devices represent an ideal combination. Current transformers convert almost any level of primary current into "bite-sized" secondary current, which can be recorded and displayed by UMG measurement devices. Almost any current transformer can be combined with the energy measurement devices.

UMG energy and power analyzers from Janitza
UMG 800: Endless opportunities
The modularly expandable UMG 800 energy analyzer enables a flexible and cost-effective energy monitoring system - and can be modularly adapted to different scenarios or future new regulations without having to constantly invest in new measurement technology.
This is made possible by a flexible basic device that can be quickly and securely connected to various modules via plug & play, depending on requirements. In this way, a UMG 800 can be expanded to up to 96 current measurement inputs, 182 digital inputs or a combination of both. In addition, the basic device (2 sub-units) and the modules are extremely space-saving.
The UMG 800 communicates via the OPC UA standard, has 2 Ethernet and one RS485 interface, a Modbus TCP/IP gateway (up to 31 slaves) and more. The basic device also has an integrated web server. This enables convenient commissioning and configuration as well as firmware updates.

UMG 96RM-E: Continuous power monitoring
The multi-functional power analyzer UMG 96RM-E fils the requirements for interactive monitoring of modern power supply systems. It combines the functions of universal meter, energy monitoring, harmonics analysis and power quality monitoring as well as residual current monitoring in one compact device.
The device is equipped with a powerful, innovative microprocessor. All measuring channels are sampled at a frequency of 21.3 kHz, allowing continuous measurement and capture of hundreds of values at high resolution.
Reliable and quick data transfer and an easy integration into the network is achieved thanks to the Ethernet connection as well as communication via Modbus/RS485. The huge 256 MB memory stores the data reliably over a long period of time.

UMG 604-PRO: Power quality analyses for everyone
The functionally expandable power analyzer UMG 604-PRO combines the latest technology with excellent functions and attractive design. The increased variety of functions and comprehensive illustration options enable measurement data and measurement results to be analyzed and interpreted more easily.
It is also suitable as a transient recorder, meter (kWh, kvarh), for optimizing load peaks, analyzing harmonics, PLC, monitoring the state, logging results and collecting data. It has two digital inputs and outputs as well as a temperature measurement input. Incorporation into the communication structure is possible with both devices, including by means of the Ethernet interface and the numerous IP protocols offered.
