High quality audio and video cables

Audio and video cables are used where sound and image signals are transmitted to an output device. Mainly, audio and video cables are used in recording studios, in radio, film and TV production as well as in stage and event technology. Special shielding protects the cables from interference from external signals. As a general rule, the longer the cable, the more important this protection is, because the longer the cable, the more likely it is that sources of interference will affect the transmission quality. For this reason, the maximum cable length in the analog transmission range should be between ten and 15 meters. In the digital range, a cable length of up to 20 meters is possible. Depending on the cable, other important parameters must be taken into account. For speaker cables, for example, the cross-section is the most important criterion.
