With the help of the official Raspberry Pi camera module you can give your Raspberry Pi eyes.

The official Raspberry Pi camera module comes in two versions. This version is the normal version, where the infrared filter is placed in front of the CMOS sensor. The camera therefore reproduces colours in daylight as expected.

Through the Raspberry Pi Community, the use of the camera is documented with many code and project examples. Thanks to a high-quality Sony sensor, you will succeed in taking excellent pictures!

The Raspbian operating system comes with a set of command line tools with many options for using the camera module.
