This product is part of the XU range, an offer of photoelectric sensors. The photoelectric sensor is an equipment/device used to discover the distance, absence or presence of an object by using a light transmitter, often infrared and a photoelectric receiver. This general purpose single mode photoelectric sensor in XU2 cylindrical M18 design. It has through-beam detection system. It supports axial lateral line of sight, 15m nominal sensing distance and 1 normally open discrete output. It is furnished with 2m 2-wire cable for electrical connection and 2 LEDs for output state and instability. It is a photoelectric sensor with a rated supply voltage of 24V to 240V AC/DC, a maximum residual current of 1.5mA and a switching frequency of ≤25Hz. It is an IP67 rated product. The enclosure is made of nickel plated brass with PMMA lens. Its dimensions are 18mm (diameter) x 82mm (length) and weighs 0.285kg. It is ideal for material handling, packaging, labelling, assembly, lift, escalators or food and beverage industries. This product is certified by UL, CSA and CE. This kit includes XU2M18MC230T transmitter and XU2M18MA230R receiver. Ex Osiris, OsiSense XU is for non-contact sensing up to a hundred meters of objects of any shape and any type.
