Sichere Elektronik dank TVS-Dioden: Schutz vor Überspannungen
Bei TVS-Dioden handelt es sich um spezielle Suppressordioden, die dazu dienen, besonders feinfühlige elektronische Schaltungen vor vorübergehenden Überspannungs-Impulsen zu schützen. Sie „schlucken“ kurzfristige Spannungsspitzen und halten damit die Spannung konsequent auf einem sicheren Level. Erst wenn eine bestimmte Spannungsschwelle überschritten wird, löst die Sicherung aus.
Gerade in Bereichen, in denen häufig Spannungsschwankungen auftreten, können eingesetzte Halbleiterbauelemente mit der Hilfe von TVS-Dioden geschützt werden. Besonders häufig sind die Dioden deshalb in der Kommunikations- oder Automobiltechnik in Verwendung.
