It must be possible to use hand-operated electric saws in a stable and reliable way to achieve high precision and avoid accidents. That is why they are sometimes equipped with weight mechanisms, for example, to dampen vibrations and enable quiet running. Cordless reciprocating saws are particularly popular with system engineers, carpenters and the fire brigade. They are often used to dismantle components and cut through pipes. Jig saws, on the other hand, have a saw blade that is held just on one side, and they are principally used to adapt plates and make curved cuts. Integrated working lights and an optional blower make work easier and improve the quality of the end product.
