Pressure sensors

Pressure sensors

In industry, especially in process technology and heating or mechanical engineering, pressure sensors are necessary measurement devices for determining the physical pressure exerted on a body. The sensors convert the measured pressure into an electric output signal. They detect stationary pressure, pressure difference, or pressure variations. Depending on the application, we offer absolute, differential, and relative pressure sensors. The difference between the sensor types is in their reference values. An absolute pressure sensor uses the vacuum as a reference, while a relative pressure sensor compares the measured value with atmospheric pressure. A differential pressure sensor, on the other hand, measures the relationship between two absolute pressures of gases, dusts, or liquids.
