Holding solenoids

Holding solenoids

By definition, a holding solenoid for holding loads with ferromagnetic characteristics. This is a magnetic system with an open magnetic circuit. allowing it to apply to different object variable retaining forces that can also be switched off. In the switched-on condition, the retaining forces are primarily dependent on the degree of magnetisability and from the surface characteristics of the objects to be retained. The magnet itself can perform no working stroke because it has no anchor plate. The anchor made of ferromagnetic material, which is necessary as a retaining point, can be the object to be retained itself or can be affixed to it.
