Hexagon socket keys, also known as hexagon socket wrenches, are used for tightening or loosening screws with a hexagon socket head. These keys have an angled shape and a ball head at the bottom end. Screws can be tightened or loosened not only vertically, but also at an angle of up to 20°. Hexagon socket head screws have the advantage that they are reachable with a hexagon socket key in places that are difficult to access, for example, from above through a hole. Hexagon socket keys and screws are used in the construction of enclosures for electrical equipment, for example.
