Data loggers

Data loggers

These processor-controlled storage units record data in a certain rhythm via an interface and saves the information on a storage medium. Data loggers consist of a programmable microprocessor, a storage medium, at least one interface and one or more sensors. They can be connected to machines or devices via the interface to record data. For measured values which are not electronic, data loggers, which consist of a hardware with special sensors, can record physical measurements over a period of time. These include temperatures, voltages, and acceleration, for example. Data loggers are used for recording temperature and humidity values in rooms, for example.
