Capacitor arrays

Capacitor arrays

Capacitor arrays provide groups of similarly structured capacitors assembled together in a package, which is comparable to a capacitor network. The difference however is that the individual capacitors are not connected to each other. Within such an array you can fulfil one and the same function such as the support, smoothing or separation of voltages or suppression of interference for various different components connected within the respective circuit. For this type of design there are many different types of arrangement of capacitors. Differentiation parameters here are firstly the capacitance and number of elements, tolerance values and maximum operating voltage. The palette of intended applications is correspondingly wide, be it in mobile phones, cordless phones, computer motherboards and peripherals, RF modems and RF amplifiers, network products, automobiles, LC filters and medical apparatus.
