Soldering wires

Soldering wires

Solder wires, generally referred to as solder, are used for connecting metals such as copper, brass, bronze, silver and gold. They are mainly made of tin, copper or zinc, and they may or may not contain flux or lead. The melting point of the solder is below that of the material to be joined. For the best soldering results, it is advisable to clean the workpieces thoroughly, so that the solder and flux stick perfectly and the heat is absorbed and distributed evenly.
