Permanently Solenoids

Iron, cobalt, and nickel are among the magnetisable materials. They form the basis of permanent magnets. These components are characterised by their retention of a static magnetic field without addition of energy. Along with electric motors and self-excited DC motors, they are used in electro-mechanics as wheel magnets for bicycle speed sensors. In the area of electronics, microwave ovens, television tubes, and particle accelerators are excellent examples of typical practical applications.
