Product description

Angular pulse encoders, type Hopt + Schuler ddm 427.

With detent, for setting digital values. High pulse rate of 30 pulses/rev for quick approximation to any, even multiple-digit setpoint. Cost-effective alternative to optoelectronic bit generators. Prerequisite is a pulse output for both rotary directions (right/left identification) and a precise, smooth-running detent. Depending on the type, a limit switch can be used to generate an additional pulse for a set or reset function when the shaft is pressed; Grid: 2.5 mm. Insulation material: to UL 94 V-0. Switching contacts: copper beryllium, galvanized Ni3Au1. Switching voltage: 5.0 VDC. Switching current: 10 mA. Contact resistance: 1.0 ohm. Insulation resistance: 100 Mohm. Expected useful life: at least min. 20000 operations. Bounce: 2.0 ms. Pulse period: 6.0 ms. Operating temperatures: –25 to +80 °C. Design: shaft neck with and without thread, 17.8-mm length, 6.0-mm shaft (with 12 mm offset), with detent. Note: for information about matching nuts for versions with M 7 x 0.75 mounting thread, refer to chapter H.
